Youth Programs (ages 10 to 18)
Our youth programs include the Challenge Group – 10 to 15 year old athletes; and the 16 to 18 year olds (U18 Age Group Skiers). The Challenge Group is further divided in to Learn to Train (10 to 13 year olds) and Train to Train (14 to 15 year olds). Age is determined in the last year of the ski season eg. 2018-19 Learn to Train 2006-09 birthyears and Train to Train 2005-04 birthyears..
We do of course offer Dryland Training too! Part of the LEARNING to Train process is rollerskiing. AKA 10-11 year olds should be introduced to rollerskiing.. 12 year olds should be rollerskiing 10+ hours in Fall and 13 year olds should be rollersking 15+ hours too.
At the TRAIN to Train stage 14 & 15 year old athletes need to be rollerskiing 30-45 hours per season.
Youth On Snow ONLY!
